The Uganda Digital Society (UDS) is set to host the first digital marketers roundtable, a high-level conversation bringing together marketing professionals, industry leaders, and innovators to discuss the future of marketing in the digital era.
The event will take place on 3rd April 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Bight of Benin in Kampala.
Accordign to organisers , attendance is free and is aimed at providing a platform for meaningful dialogue on modern marketing strategies.
The discussion will focus on the theme: “Integrating Digital and Traditional Marketing for Maximum Impact.”
Officials said as businesses navigate an increasingly digital landscape, marketers are challenged to balance traditional media with digital platforms to engage audiences effectively.
"The roundtable will explore how to combine both approaches strategically to create impactful and ethical marketing campaigns."
Key speakers at the event will include John Ssenkeezi, President of the Uganda Digital Society; Charity K. Asiimwe, President of the Uganda Marketers Society; and Rommel Jasi, Chairperson of the Uganda Advertising Association.
"The session will provide attendees with insights from experienced practitioners, opportunities for interactive discussions, and a chance to network with professionals in marketing, media, and technology sectors," officials said.
According to Wycliff Katamba, Events and Partnership Director at UDS, the roundtable marks the beginning of a series of industry conversations aimed at strengthening Uganda’s digital ecosystem while promoting responsible and effective marketing practices.
“This roundtable is an opportunity for marketers to share experiences, explore innovative approaches, and strengthen partnerships that will shape the future of marketing in Uganda," Katamba said.
